Rest Easy my friend, Anita Chesney Class of 71- Aggie Pride forever

Doris and I worked several years together. She was a very special person. We had many morning chats before we started work. She was an excellent and sincere employee in accomplishing her duties with the Govt. I really and truly enjoyed knowing Doris.

I have just-this evening-received the news of Doris' passing. She and I would talk and text on a regular basis...about our children, grandchildren, mutual friends, etc. As our fathers had been friends and had kept in touch throughout their lives, Doris and I enjoyed carrying on their tradition. I will truly miss her and extend my heartfelt condolences to her brothers Nathaniel, Charles and their families. And especially to Doris' children and grandchildren, who she adored. I hired Doris when she applied with the U.S. Customs Service, Regulatory Audit Division. We worked several years together until I retired. She was very intelligent and a great asset. I know she is present with our Lord today. Her family should be very proud of their MOMMA! Alan Cooper.

My heartfelt condolences to all of the family and friends of Doris. I find comfort that she found peace and was cared for by the ones she loved the most. I miss our walks and talks but I am so thankful for the time we did spend together. Thank you so much for being such a dear friend to me.
