We will certainly miss Charles,"Scottie." A very humble, friendly, and caring man who loved his family and his church. We will miss his cantor, honesty, and nonsense approach evidenced when he was engaged in conversation with you. We were blessed by his presence and his wit and we ask for comfort and healing for Emily, Allison, and the rest of "Scotties" family.

Charles Scott, whom we called Scottie, was unique and special to us all. He was given many monikers; the general, the guard, backup preacher, and Mr. prophet. He was funny and often sarcastic. He was also one of the most consistent and honorable men I have known. His faith was rarely spoken, yet easily visible. His commitment to the Church was fundamental to his life. I listened carefully to what he said; he spoke with little or no filters around the truth he saw. It was emblematic of how he lived, that the underlining truth must always be recognized and used in going forward; we then accept that truth and its consequences in prayer and supplication of God's will. His voice and spirit will be greatly missed. New Creation UMM
