Augustus Leo βMonkeyβ Duncan, 83, of New Bern eternal rest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, North Carolina.
His Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Jerdine Johnson Duncan of the home; sons, Terrill Williams (Elisa), Florida, Leroy Bell, New Bern, David Duncan, New Jersey and Tim Williams, Florida; two daughters, Tina Duncan, New York and Tammy Dixon (Rick), Goldsboro; eight brothers and four sisters, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I met Monkey and the cousin of my mother (mama duke. We enjoyed his and his wife's visit to Alabama on bowling tournaments. They fell in love with my daughter Melody and our poodle that we named"Sam Duncan". Prayers of love and peace beyond understanding as you walk this journey. Please lean on God and look to the hills.
