David Peter Moffat,91, of New Bern a native of Monmouth, Illinois died Sunday, June 1, 2025.
His Graveside Service is 1:00 PM. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern.
He is survived by his wife, Sondra Moffat of the home; son, David Moffat; daughters, Jennifer Moffat Brooks and Charlotte Moffat Clevenger; step-children, Lisa Gaskins Jefferson, Lori Gaskins and Robert Gaskins; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Moffat.

Add A CondolenceAll my condolences, love and blessings to my dear Uncle Pete's family. My mother was Pete's older sister and she, my Uncle Tom and Pete were best buddies and enjoyed Copper Harbor, Michigan all their lives. He will be sorely missed, but heaven is a brighter place because he and my Mom are there.
