TO THE MANN FAMILY. I met Jim when we were both assigned to the Washington Field Office as Special Agents of The FBI. We developed a friendship because we were both from Eastern North Carolina. Jim was a quiet person who would always provide words of wisdom when difficult situations would arise in our work place. He always had a friendly smile and I will be forever indebted to him for all the advise that he would give me during our relationship. The world is a better place because of the life that Jim Mann lived. Though he is no longer with us physically, the love that he had for his family and friends will last eternally. May he rest in Heavenly peace. Minister, Amos T. Mills, III.
To the Mann Family. I first met Jim (James) while a new FBI Special Agent in training at the FBI Academy (1979). My class members under Counselor John Morrison was pitted against Counselor Mann's class to see which class would produce the best new graduating New Special Agents. I must say that when the dust settled the number of points received were equal among both class. Thanks Special Agent James for being there when we needed role models like you.
The Saunders Family, saddened by the loss of Jim, wants to extend our heartfelt condolences. The Mann's are family to us and we share the loss. A long career of serving his country, he was an All American leader. We pray to God for your comfort, and remember joy will come in the morning.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
