Obituary For John W. Simmons
John W. Simmons, 96, was called to rest on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
The Family will receive friends, Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Oscar's Memorial Chapel.
His Service is 11:00 AM, Monday, August 24, 2026 at West Street Christian Church 721 West Street. The Interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons and daughters, Ronald Simmons, Dennis Simmons, Morris Simmons, all of New Bern, Lorraine Simmons Perry, Lithonia, Georgia, Beverly Simmons Williams and Gregory Simmons of New Bern; seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
