I am deeply sorry for your loss. She was truly a great friend. She was a ray of sunshine in the front office at WCHS, bringing warmth and kindness to everyone around her. For our JROTC Cadets, she was more than just a staff member; she was a second mom, always there with guidance and support. Her presence will be greatly missed, and my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Peace, comfort and love to my family on this day of Celebration of life of our beloved "JOQUITA". We join you in prayer for her husband and children. Please forgive our absence and know God will take care of you. I am reminded of Emma-Marie singing the song "God Shall Wipe All the Tears Away". We love you. Family, stay with God and stay together.

I am sending my condolences to you and the family. God will see you through this because there's nothing to hard for God. I remember Mrs Jo Quita mailing me bracelets and it would make my day because I knew it was going to be beautiful.

I was shocked to hear the news of JoQuita's passing. She was a wonderful and caring human. It has been years since I last saw her, but certainly remember her helpful spirit during our time together in school. Prayers to her family in this tremendous time of loss.

She was one of the funniest people I've ever known. She had a way of making even the hardest days brighter. I could walk into the office without a smile and leave with the biggest one on my face because of her. I'm going to miss our daily breakfast gossip, the laughs we shared, and all the words of encouragement she always gave me. She was the first person I told when I failed my driver's test, and the first person I told when I finally passed. She was always there whenever I needed someone to talk to. She wasn't just "Ms. JoQuita in the front office" to me, she was someone I truly looked up to and someone I looked forward to seeing every single morning. I'm going to miss you more than words can say. Praying for her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and an even more amazing person. I have a lot of Memories: I use to do your hair we and have those good ole salon talks, we sung in the choir together, you name Jimia middle name after my middle name(Lata) you were in my wedding and you went to New Bern High and I went to Havelock High we were Craven County Girls C/O 1997... a sweet friend and sister for life.
