He is survived by his sisters, Sylvia Dunson Holland, PA, Barbara Dunson Owens, New Bern, NC, Dorothy Dunson, Los Angeles, CA, Winnie Dunson Baker, Louisville, KT Agnes D. Reid, Columbia, MD; nephew-son-of the heart, Rodney Kelly, Greenville, NC (Kim) nieces, nephews and cousins

Condolences 🙏🏿 to the family on behalf of the Credle and White family in James City.
My heartfelt condolences go out to the Dunson family during this difficult time. Working with Sam was a genuine pleasure; he was always considerate, reminding me to slow down and to get enough rest to stay healthy. We often had meaningful conversations in the mornings, sharing thoughts and stories as the day started. Calling him first thing in the morning was a comforting routine, a moment of connection that set a positive tone for the day. Samuel Dunson, your presence and kindness will be deeply missed by all of us.
